Jessica serves as our volunteer leadership and training coordinator. She has her masters in teaching, and in addition to her career in a traditional classroom, Jessica spent her summers working with children who were rescued from sex trafficking in Kenya, Tanzania, Thailand and Cambodia.
Jessica explained that she loves working with RiverCross because, “It's a different approach to aiding those who have been sexually abused and exploited than what I have experienced before. I love that it is a way towards healing and not simply helping and attempts to celebrate people where they are and not conform to Western ways of thinking.”
Jessica lives in Raleigh with her husband, Michael, her daughter, and a pit bull named Frankie.
